Makayla Springer, M.S., CCC-SLP, earned her Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Redlands. During her academic career, she gained pediatric experience in private practice and public school settings. Makayla has completed assessments and implemented individual and group therapy for children with a variety of diagnoses and speech/language disorders including Autism, Down syndrome, phonology and articulation disorders, expressive/receptive language delays, fluency, and pragmatic delay. Makayla is dedicated to helping children use total communication as a means for self-expression through child-led play. When Makayla is not in the speech room, she enjoys going to the beach, reading, and exploring the South Bay.
