Jennifer Bermudez, M.A., OTR/L earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from University of Southern California (USC) in 2017. She earned her B.S. in Occupational Therapy from University Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Senora del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia, and a Master’s degree in Integration of People with Disabilities from University of Salamanca, Spain. She has worked overseas in countries as Colombia and Mexico and now here in US mainly in pediatric clinic settings. These experiences have giving her an amazing learning and respect about clients’ culture and values. Jennifer is passionate and dedicated to working with children and their families to foster growth and development in each individual child. She acquired her SIPT certification (Sensory Integration) through USC in 2010, and NDT Certification (Neurodevelopmental Treatment) in 2005. Jennifer has dedicated a lot of her continued education and experience in different approaches and interventions for children with developmental disorders. Her goal is for children to feel successful and confident when mastering new skills within their daily environments and to create a comfortable and positive environment for their families. Jennifer strongly believes that working as a team, collaboration and individualizing treatment for each family is the key to progress, success and enjoy this amazing gift that is called “life”.
