Dabin “Jennifer” Kim, M.S., OTR/L, earned her clinical master’s degree from California State University Dominguez Hills, in Carson, CA. She pursued a career in occupational therapy after observing occupational therapists engage in play-based therapy with children in the school system. During her graduate studies, she received training from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she worked with children with a variety of complex diagnoses. She was born in Daegu, Korea but immigrated to the United States when she was 6. Since then, she has never moved out of sunny California. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her 3 cats. She is passionate about helping kids do what kids do best: PLAY!
