Rajaé Jones, OTD, OTR/L is a Doctor of Occupational Therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology – Fitness Specialist from San Diego State University in 2016 and her Doctor of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2021. For her doctoral capstone, Rajaé explored the connection between occupational identity and daily haircare for Black women. Her project highlighted the importance of culturally meaningful occupations and led her to present continuing education courses for occupational therapists through the Occupational Therapy Association of California (OTAC) and the Maryland Occupational Therapy Association (MOTA). Before becoming an occupational therapist, Rajaé worked in adaptive fitness, personal training, and as a rehab aide, where she supported individuals in reaching their mobility and wellness goals. Rajaé is passionate about creating positive, play-based therapy experiences that empower children to participate more fully in their daily lives. She enjoys collaborating with families and creating meaningful strategies to support each child’s unique growth. Outside of work, Rajaé enjoys gaming, reading, and nail care, and cherishes quality time with her husband and son.
