Samantha Claros is a Speech-Language Pathologist beginning her Clinical Fellowship (CF) Year. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from New York University, where she also completed a minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies, before earning her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Chapman University. Throughout her graduate training, Samantha had the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan in public schools, private practices, and university clinics, but her passion has always been working with children. She has a special interest in articulation and phonological disorders, as well as Gestalt language processing, and is passionate about creating individualized, engaging therapy that helps children build confidence while making meaningful progress. Samantha believes the best outcomes happen when families and clinicians work together, and she strives to create a supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to learn and grow. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys traveling, baking, exploring local coffee shops and restaurants, and spending quality time with the people she loves.
