Stephanie Navarrete, M.A., CF-SLP, earned her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She learned about the field during her last year of her undergraduate education, where she had the marvelous opportunity to provide Spanish-speaking parents with information on early childhood development. Stephanie’s passion for the pediatric population continued throughout her graduate academic career, where she gained more clinical experience working with young children through her school and medical internships. Her medical internship at Children’s Hospital Colorado specifically allowed Stephanie to work with children and adolescents with a variety of speech and language disorders, including phonology and articulation, apraxia of speech, AAC, down syndrome, social communication skills, and expressive/receptive language delays. Stephanie is thrilled to continue her career as a speech language pathologist to assist monolingual and bilingual children though evidence based therapeutic interventions. During her free time, Stephanie enjoys going on walks/hikes with her Yorkshire terrier, joining kickboxing classes, going to the beach, and spending time with her loved ones.
